About Catch My Drift

Catch My Drift Inc. is the Bow River’s premier fly-fishing guiding and instruction company. Offering excellence to all clients is our first priority. All clients can expect warm and friendly service with professional advice and instruction. Every trip is a fun and exciting experience that provides lifelong memories.

Catch My Drift is primarily a guiding company. However, we are most passionate about teaching the sport. Professional guidance on a river can make up for years of frustration from learning the hard way. Whether you are thinking about trying out the sport for the first time or you want to speed up your learning curve, Catch My Drift will exceed your expectations. You can expect patience and understanding with careful instruction and leadership. The applicable experience you will gain in one day can be priceless. With a maximum of two people in one class, you can expect to learn in an intimate and personal environment.

Catch My Drift guides are trained/certified in basic CPR, First-Aid and advanced Wilderness Remote Responder. We do carry liability insurance and require a signed waiver form. Also we are active members of the Angling Outfitters Association of Alberta.

Catch My Drift only uses Hyde Drift Boats for client comfort. We provide all necessary gear. Waders are recommended but not included. Clients are responsible for their own waders but we are available to arrange rentals if needed. Stomach contentment is a key ingredient in our quality trips. Hearty meals, snacks and beverages are provided to ensure stomach satisfaction throughout the day. Meal suggestions and recommendations are welcome and allergies and dietary restrictions are accommodated. Your perfect drift is our ultimate goal.
